Dr. Taylor achieved his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the NC. State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. He has since proven himself very successful as a small animal practioner and as a research scientist. He currently works for an international pharmaceutical company. One of his primary goals has been to use his education to improve the quality of life for mankind.
He has been recognized many times for his accomplishments over the years. At the University of Maryland he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was the Outstanding Graduating Student in the College of Agriculture. In 2006, he received the Talecris On the Spot Award for above and beyond performance. In his spare time, Mac is also a successful martial arts instructor where he enjoys the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and young adults through martial arts. He wants to continue to make an impact on society through his service as a board member of Mercy for America’s Children. His personal experience navigating two adoptions through the U.S. Foster Care system has made him aware of the difficulties facing children in Foster Care. He has become very passionate about advocating for positive changes for children waiting in Foster Care and plans to use his extensive education, martial arts training, and personal adoption experience to make a difference through this valuable organization.
